My Top 5 AU Games Attended. +. War Damn Eagle!

So recently, I've been talking about past Auburn games with different people and have been catching myself labeling different games as "the best" game I've ever been to.  This bothered be, so I started looking for a clear cut answer as to which one was actually "the best Auburn football game I've ever attended".  This was pretty complicated since I've been coming to around 5 games a year since 2004,even though it eventually being narrowed down to many of the games from this past season.Which, you have to give this past season its due, with so many come from behind wins and an eventual National Championship, this last season had some of the best games period.

#5
Auburn vs. LSU (Oct 23, 2010)
Auburn 24-LSU 17
Definitely one of the craziest games I've ever been to.  Just had so much on the line and was the epitome of SEC football.  Leading up to the game all you heard was about LSU's top ranked defense vs. our highly rated offense.  It is one of the biggest rivalry games there is anyway, and this was one of those games where you don't sit and there was no way you was going to be able to talk after the game. Had you on the edge of your seat til the very end, with the score being tied for most of the 4th quarter

#4
Auburn vs. Arkansas (Oct 16, 2010)
Auburn 65- Arkansas 43
Game wise, this was the most fun to watch.  There was no defensive struggle.  The whole game was an offensive highlight reel. When one team scored, the other answered. Even after Mallet was injured, the backup came in and continued to light our defense up.  The game wasn't sealed til late in the fourth and broke almost all SEC scoring and every other statistical category for one game.

(wanted to find the game, score by score, but couldnt find a legit game recap)

#3
Iron Bowl, 2007. 6 in a row
Auburn 17- Alabama 10
In all honesty, this was one of the most boring games I've ever seen.  The final score was 17-10 and the score wasn't low because the defenses were good, the score was low because the offenses sucked that day.  Was there with Jay and Pitt.  Pitt, bought a "ticket" for 30 bucks and it didnt have the game on it, but we somehow snuck him in anyway, while Jay and I paid 130 for ours.
The weather was freezing and really overcast all day, you could go as far as to say it was miserable. But the only thing that puts this at #3 is the atmosphere and the fact that it introduced me to the "Rammer Jammer" remix. This was when I officially said I would never sit anywhere besides the student section again.

#2
Auburn vs. Florida (2006)
Auburn 27-Florda 17
This was Tebow's freshman year.  He and Leak were splitting reps this game and this was one of the first big games he ever played in.  Florida was ranked #2 at the time and the game wasn't even expected to be close.  I just remember the atmosphere being electric all day, it was really almost as if you could sense the upset. The game was a slug fest.  Tebow trademarked one of his bulldozing runs over a linebacker for a TD right in front of me.  The play that is remembered most is the blocked punt where Tre Smith  scooped it and flipped into the endzone for a huge touchdown.
Auburn was the only SEC team that Tebow never beat.

#1
Auburn vs. West Virginia (2009)
"The Rain Game"
Auburn 41-West Virgina 30
By far the most awesome game I've ever been to. About an hour before the game the sky fell out.  The game was delayed for an hour and a half because of the water and lightning.  They advised us to all go into the concourse and nobody budged, sat out there singing for the whole time.  Everything from "Have you ever seen the rain", "Thunder road" and anything else you can think of, chants and everything. At one point, you could honestly not even see the other side of the stadium it was raining so hard as well as you couldn't even see any green grass because the water puddled up so quickly.
As for the game, WV jumped out to an early 14-0 lead and it was an epic comeback with momentum swings from one way to the other.  It took until late in the fourth quarter and forcing around 5 turnovers. I just hope to God I get to be a part of another game like this.

Well, there ya have it, but while I'm at it, I might as well post a couple of videos that just define the 2010 season itself

Then you have the Nova's crazy flight before the Georgia game

But overall this next one sums it up.. War Damn Eagle

My Bucket List

There comes a point in everyone's life when they realize how precious every moment is. For some this comes early, some consider it their mid-life crisis, and some wait until they are on their deathbed to take note of how they didnt accomplish what they wanted to. There will be things you regret, some things you did and some things you didn't do. Personally I had much rather regret the things I did rather than regretting not doing something that could have altered your life path, leaving you questioning yourself about "what could have been"

With that said, I'm only twenty years old and I still have a long life to live, God willing.  I just don't ever want to get complacent with the same ole day-to-day routine.  Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of goals that somewhat have my life planned out, but spontaneity is a virtue to me. I love random things, why stay in the same ole comfort zone and become complacent? I want to do things that most people consider out of their comfort zone, so some of the things you'll find here are completely off the wall, while some are completely normal, but after all, isn't 'normal' just one's perception of what things should be like?

So here is my tentative bucket list.
